OUR STORY

Welcome to Symmio!

Functional Movement Systems (FMS) seeks to integrate proactive health solutions where they're needed most, empowering both organizations and the general public to achieve health, wellness, and fitness successes.

Symmio was created by a team of medical and performance professionals who have been leading the industry in optimizing health and wellness through a functional approach since 1999. FMS has pioneered effective and accurate methods to measure movement as a vital sign, training over 60,000 professionals in its use. These early adopters recognize the industry's oversight in considering movement a vital sign.

Today, FMS is recognized as a pioneer in algorithm-based movement health standards. Decades of research and feedback have refined our systems, which use movement to heal movement. Our founding philosophy of protecting, correcting, and developing movement in the proper sequence remains our guiding principle. In an industry often mistaken in seeking fitness solutions for health problems, we continue to champion the importance of moving well before moving often.

Symmio embodies our commitment to making functional wellness principles accessible to everyone, helping individuals move better, feel better, and live better. Through Symmio, FMS continues to lead the way in revolutionizing your health, ensuring everyone has the tools to move well and live well.
